This is undoubtedly one of the "hottest" in terms of colors of my paintings. Pinks, vermilion and oranges in countless shades intertwine here. There are also purples and blues, complementing and at the same time cooling the warm color tones. In the center are two brave feline goddesses, Sekhmet in the form of a lioness - the embodiment of the fearsome dangerous eye of the sun, sent by the god Re to punish humanity for its sins - and her gentler companion, the cat Bastet. As you may have guessed, Re is the sun that radiates from behind the mountains on the horizon. I am a cat lover and a painting with figures of cats, so revered by the ancient Egyptians, could not be missing from my offer. The artwork is a bit nostalgic, because it is a sunset, but at the same time it is stimulating thanks to the fierce goddesses and the warmth of the colors :)
