The Creation of the World in Memphis, this is how I could expand the title of the painting. The central figure of the composition, the god Ptah, was a cosmic god from this religious center. The local priests in the Memphite Doctrine combined other theologies - from Hermopolis and Heliopolis - like a puzzle, making Ptah a universal god, the creator of other gods and people. He created everything through words... does it remind you of another religion? ;) I painted god based on a golden statue from the tomb of Tutankhamun (18th dynasty). The Egyptians believed that gold was the building material of the gods' bodies. Pay attention to the god's scepter, it is an extremely complex combination of the scepter uas (happiness), the sign of ankh (life) and the sign of djed (endurance).

Around Ptah, in cosmic space, there are real constellations (Ursa Major and the Big Dipper) as well as my own, fantastic ones, referring to other theologies (Eternal Atum, Solar Barge and Apis Bull). In the painting, I explored different shades of blue, so it is definitely something for fans of this color. It breathes cosmic peace, which is intensified by Ptah's empty gaze, broken at the bottom by the vivid colors of the setting sun.
